Background Check Information
- The cost is $20 per background screening, which will be payable online. If you would like to be reimbursed, please send a copy of you receipt and your address to your director.
- **Background screening applications and player safety compliance MUST be completed by the applicant.** Any individual who completes an application on behalf of another individual is subject to suspension or other discipline, and in addition, may be subject to criminal or civil liability.
Background Screening Validity Dates
If completed between, it is valid through:
July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 July 31, 2021
July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 July 31, 2022
July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 July 31, 2023
Safesport Training Information
- This training will be integrated and completed through your SportsEngine account (if you do not have a current sports engine account you will need to make one) and will be required annually. Once an adult has completed the initial training, the refresher course will only be required in subsequent years.
- Once you submit your background screening information, you will be sent a page that has a link to the SafeSport training. Click through the link to continue the training. You will also receive an email in case you need to retrieve the URL at a later time.
- I never received an email to complete my SafeSport training. What do I do? Check your JUNK/SPAM mail folder for “abuse prevention”. If you still have not received it email support@sportsengine.com
- Use the same email address for all registration accounts and player safety processes. It will help ensure a seamless transition with all registration processes.
